Goosehead and Justin Wiggains are both great! Justin has helped my wife and I tremendously ever since our home purchase. Just recently we had him bundle our auto policy with our home policy with Progressive.
This is a little known company to everyone I speak with. The State Auto policy for the vehicles appears to be in line with other companies. The HOUSE POLICY is where you need an attorney to decipher the wording. I have had two unforseen problems in my home. One was a sewer backup into both SHOWERS downstairs. Water damage was done to the adjoining closets and of course I had to call professional cleaning company to santitize. That claim (because beware, they write claims SEPERATE so that you have to pay 2 deductibles before they start paying, in my case, every deductible would be $3,250!) The second incident occurred in a separate part of the house. They had to cut through my ceiling to get to the corroded and leaking pipes. That was another claim not covered. So if Gooshead home policy had stepped in to help me, I would first have to satisfy **$6,500** !! AND I ALREADY PAID MY FULL YEAR PREMIUM at close of escrow! It does not take a rocket scientist to see that if I paid out my deductibles and my year premium, I would have THE BEST TRIPLE RATED POLICY IN TEXAS! But who has that kind of money!!! So I hired my own handyman to come out and correct the problems. Yes, it is taking a long time because they work for companies but do side jobs to provide for family. So I am researching ESTABLISHED insurance companies! It may cost me $1000 more per year but so what? I am paying a premium to Goosemhead who has all small print that will keep them from paying for anything! So beware of Goosehead Home policy!
We had an awesome experience with Goosehead when shopping for homeowners and auto insurance. William was extremely accessible through the entire process and saved us a ton overall. He was able to cut my auto insurance rate in half while increasing all of my coverages! Really regret not shopping rates earlier!

I recently used this service to switch my home insurance and basically it was a rip off. I paid them to do a service I could have done for free. When it came time to get my refund I had to haunt it down and fax the paperwork to the mortgage company... so technically I had to process my own paperwork....
