Okay, so I don't know if this is the same restaurant everyone else is reviewing, but the food is inconsistent, the pizza is often soggy, and the cheese sticks that were delivered last night were cold in the middle on top of being oil soaked and freezer burnt. This is definitely not authentic. Every once in a blue moon it's all right, not mostly just ... no.

Good place to eat, the food is really good. but the person taking orders also takes orders via phone, leaving you standing there waiting. Also, the patio is too hot to enjoy. No fans or shade what's so ever, only the beams of the Texas heat.

We go here often for lunch, friendly family run place, always great pizza and salads are good too. I especially like the super hero, the bread is just the right combination of crusty and chewy. Having lived on Long Island for a few years, and being married to a native Long Islander, I can attest that this is the closest thing to authentic New York pizza that I have found in my 30 years in Texas.

Not impressed with this place. We have been coming here every once in a while for years but too many times things went wrong. The pizza is good, I will give them that. However, one time we had to wait forever because they were working on a pizza delivery order - for 50 pizzas! They did not make our pizza until the other order was finished, which took forever. My kids were not happy. A few days ago we were there on a Saturday afternoon and they were out of spinach (for the veggie pizza) and also out of olives. Which of course they only told us after we placed our orders and paid. The owners always act like customers are just a bother and I do not support that kind of attitude. Sorry La Scala, too many other good pizza places around!

The sauce here is to die for. And when I say that, I say it because the owner is a great guy who does what he does because he loves it. Believe me it tastes like it. Wow what the hell are you waiting for this is the place to be. Try the spaghetti with meat sauce and add a meat ball, bon appetite.
